Understanding Scents of Surrounds
You wear the best camouflage and use your favorite call to try to blend in with the environment. Now you can camouflage your scent and become virtually invisible. Every scent is 100% natural. First, identify what scent best fits where you will be hunting. Check out how to use it below!
How To Use
Use Scents of Surroundings before and during the hunt. Spray clothes, boots, socks, hats, gloves, weapons, and all other gear. Be sure to cover clothes front and back. Even rubber boots leave a scent trail of "rubber boots". For the best results, spray the bottom of your boots periodically when traveling on foot. For best results, wash and dry hunting gear with scent-free laundry products. Put all hunting gear back in a sealable bag or container when you are done hunting. Repeat on your next hunt.
Understanding Scent
We all know animals have an amazing sense of smell. This is vital to their survival. It's how they find food. It's how they find a mate. It's how they decide their next step. When you cover up your scent with the surroundings, you can go hunting virtually undetected. With that being said, be sure to check downwind of you when using the Scents Of Surroundings cover scent. For example, a mature whitetail buck will almost always enter food, water, and bedding from the downwind side. Scents Of Surroundings has you covered. Get the scents that best suites your desired hunting location and stop stressing about the wind!
Trail Camera Tips
Cell cameras can be the best way to scout and track animal movements without disrupting normal habits. Look for major trails, fence crossings, food, and water. Don't be discouraged if you get nighttime pictures. Simply try moving your camera farther up the trail 50-150 yards to try and capture them traveling during hunting hours. It is very important to know where all water sources in the area are as well as food sources. When placing your cameras, spray all gear, clothing, and cameras with Scents Of Surroundings to cover human and other unnatural scents.
Trapping
The scent is a huge factor when setting a trap. There is a good chance you are using some type of scent as an attractant. However, the human scent you leave behind is probably the reason your attractant scent is not working as it should. For best scent control, wear rubber gloves, spray gloves with a Scents of Surroundings cover scent, then set the trap. After setting a trap, spray set with Scents Of Surroundings cover scent. This will leave behind a fresh, natural odor instead of a human scent.
